An important strategical affiliate of The Dreher Group, SADGE consists of two corporations, SADG-1, Inc., and SADG-2, Inc., which serve as the managing general partner for a growing number of partnerships that own one or more investment properties throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. SADGE principles manage SABEL Construction (Scandale Associated Builders and Engineers LTD), another affiliated company, which provides comprehensive construction services to The Dreher Group and its clients as well as other commercial real estate clients.

As an integrated real estate development company, Sabel provides comprehensive construction services to The Dreher Group and its clients, as well as other commercial real estate clients.

Sabel’s professional construction management team shares more than 100 years of experience in commercial, institutional, and industrial construction. Our projects include new facilities, additions, interior and exterior renovations, alterations, and improvements to comply with the American Disabilities Act.

Sabel’s extensive experience in budgeting, contract negotiations, and project planning enable us to keep tight controls on every phase of a construction project and deliver a job on time. Throughout the construction process, ordering materials, and scheduling sub-contractors, we work to control costs while delivering the highest quality product.

Nicholas Scandale

Principal, SADGE Development

Nicholas Scandale entered the construction industry as a graduate structural/civil engineer from Pennsylvania State University in 1951. Working with United Steel on the construction of the world’s largest steel plant, he advanced to Senior Project Engineer before completing the Fairless Works Facility in 1955. Nick then served as Chief Structural Engineer at the design firm of Von Storch, Evans, Scandale, and Burkavage until forming Scandale Construction Company in 1961. Through nearly half a century, Scandale Construction has grown to become a regional company recognized for quality and professionalism.

From 1972 to 1984, Nick served as the Engineer of Record for Lackawanna County, PA, responsible for budgeting and administering over $50 million in construction projects. He is a registered engineer in Florida and Pennsylvania.

Mark J. Paradise

Director of Project Management

Mark Paradise has more than 24 years of experience in the construction industry. Since beginning his career with Scandale Construction Company in the estimating and purchasing department, he has been responsible for the oversight of several important projects from the bidding process to final inspection. In addition to his construction duties, Mark also handles all entitlement processes, including Subdivisions, Lot Consolidations, Zoning Hearings, and Land Developments. He also oversees and coordinates the entire permitting process, working with municipalities and various government agencies from the local to the federal level. Mark holds an Associates Degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from Pennsylvania State University.
